Day 2....

Today went good.  I ate really good but I feel like I had too much fruit... I know most people think fruit is good for you and in some cases it is.  It however does not promote weight loss due to the high sugar content and therefore should be left alone by yours truly.  Now comes the worst part.  I got my body fat done today and found out that I am worse off than I thought... 25% body fat!!! that is disgusting.  That means that a 1/4 of my body weight is made up of Fat  EEEWWWW.  Oh well lets see what it is like next week, after all this is a 90 day challenge not a 2 day one.  On the plus side, I got 5 pull-ups today.  For those of you that don't know I am 13ish weeks out from shoulder surgery so this was a big deal.

  1. way to go!! You're off to a great start!! I was bummed to miss the wod today, but had a sick kid. And I didn't even get that cardio in... sigh. I have great faith in you... and your faith will make you all the more successful. Remember, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"! You are a wonderful man of God!

  2. I dont keep up with FB enough to be dangerous so I missed this. Good you're doing this. I know it will be challenging - all of it - for this goes beyond the weight loss. You've made it public now. If no tfor you, stick to it for Z and Joshua. Teach them about accountability and striving to be better. You know I'll be on ya.

  3. Way to go Ryan! I'm glad to hear that you've added scripture to the process. "For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come."

    Remember, we'll be watching... ;-) And if I get up the courage may follow suit.

  4. Dude! I got my body fat measured just the other day too. I was at 25.3%! The difference, of course, is that I only have 155lbs that aren't fat and you have about 190 lean pounds. That's a lot of extra muscle. Keep up the good work!
