Day 23...

I know these posts can get boring, but hey this is to make sure that I stay eating good and taking care of what it is that God gave me right... I am now down to 238 so thats another pound, but I get my BF done again tomorrow and I am hoping to see some change there.  Im going to add in some more HEAVY lifting along with my Crossfit WODs that I am doing so it should really pick up pace soon... Eating is going well my calories are staying around 2500 as long as im paying close attention to them.

Now before I get off of here I thought that I would post something on here that is a definite conversation piece.  I am a Christian as some of you may know.  I believe the Bible to be the complete and inerrant  word of God.  I also find it funny how people doubt the authenticity of the Bible not to mention the new testament.  When you look at ancient writings there are certain criteria that make them more or less reliable.  Such as the shorter the time span between the time it was written and the earliest copies found, the more reliable it is.  Or the more copies you find and how accurately they are when compared to one another.  Things like that.  Well I have included a table that I got off of one of my favorite sites called www.carm.org if you get the chance to check it out you should. If you would like to look at the whole article click here.

The New Testament is constantly under attack and its reliability and accuracy are often contested by critics.  But, if the critics want to disregard the New Testament, then they must also disregard other ancient writings by Plato, Aristotle, and Homer. This is because the New Testament documents are better-preserved and more numerous than any other ancient writings. Because they are so numerous, they can be cross checked for accuracy... and they are very consistent.
There are presently 5,686 Greek manuscripts in existence today for the New Testament.1 If we were to compare the number of New Testament manuscripts to other ancient writings, we find that the New Testament manuscripts far outweigh the others in quantity.2
